Firelight Festival Update

From Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July 2025, the Firelight Festival will take centre stage at Docklands, shining a spotlight on dragon boat racing and our vibrant community.

Dragon Boat Victoria has been working closely with the City of Melbourne to put together an exciting program that highlights our sport—from eye-catching static boat displays to thrilling nighttime racing.

To help festival visitors learn more and connect with our clubs, DBV has created a dedicated page on our website. Visitors scanning QR codes at the festival will be directed to this page, which features everything from an overview of the sport to easy steps for finding and joining a local club.

This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to boost recruitment and raise awareness of dragon boating across Victoria.
