LNY Race Draw FINAL
Sweeps & Drummers Pool - please contact paul@dragonboatvictoria if required.
Categories, Divisions and Distances:
*The 2km turns race will be conducted using the ~450-480m mark, including 3 turns to complete the distance.
*The triathlon will involve crews paddling in a 100m and 200m race one after the other (it may be 100m then 200m or 200m then 100m, TBC), but the boat will stay on the water and the paddlers remain the same. Most likely the race schedule will see the 500m conducted prior to the shorter distances.
In RevSport there is only one category for each triathlon event so for a 10's triathlon clubs need to name a max of 12 paddlers and use the same 12 for each of the three distances. For the 20's triathlon the same arrangement is in place but you can choose a max of 24 paddlers. The Drummer and Sweep is not counted in the maximum of 12 and 24. As per AusDBF rules, Crews may be comprised of a total of 14 (small boat) and 26 (standard boat), inclusive of their Drummer and Sweep.
