Yarra River Dragons

We are a dragon boat racing club based at Docklands in Melbourne. What makes us different to other clubs? Our motto is ‘Serious fun... just add water!’. While we aim to be competitive, we like having fun while doing it. If you are looking for an instant group of friends, a great way to get fit and something that will open new doors for you, then come and try paddling with us!

You don’t need to be super fit, just willing to have a go – we’ll show you everything you need to know and provide you with a paddle and a life jacket. Remember you’re never alone as a new person. Abilities in our crew range from brand new, to elite level. We have members that just enjoy club level paddling, and also those that have represented Victoria and even Australia.
