Dragons Afloat was established in 2010 by the Bendigo & District Prostate Cancer Support Group, as an outlet for Prostate Cancer survivors, other cancer survivors, their carers and supporters to reap the benefits of regular exercise, camaraderie and team spirit. We are now an open group, welcoming any adult wishing to benefit from the joys and challenges of dragon boating. We paddle on Lake Weeroona throughout the year on Saturday mornings, and even offer a weekday session as well in the warmer months of the year. New members of all ages (no cancer connection required) are most welcome to come along and give it a try. For more information please contact Karen 0409 383 331 |
