Regatta Results and Surveys

The Footscray and Cross Border Race Results are now available on the DBV Website - view here. There was an error in RevSport which prevented DBV from uploading Footscray results last week so we apologise for the delay. However, the 'Online Results' ie Excel worksheet will always be uploaded immediately after each Regatta for those wanting to see race times, plus final results are available in the DBV Regatta WhatsApp chat - join here

Thank you to all members who completed a Footscray Regatta Survey, which has now closed. The Cross Border Athlete and Coach/Team Manager Surveys will remain open until Tuesday 2 December. Please continue completing these as they are helpful for DBV to continuously improve Regattas.

General DBV Updates

Second Bite Dragon Pass:

Just a reminder this initiative closes on 30 November. If you have any training this weekend you can promote the opportunity for people who already signed up to a Dragon Pass to give Dragon Boating another go.

Club Queries:

If you or your club has a query, unless you are 100% certain the matter should be addressed to AusDBF, please contact DBV in the first instance. There has been a handful of times where the member or club should have reached out to DBV rather than AusDBF. Generally speaking DBV should be your first port of call for things such as insurance, RevSport, membership queries etc.

LEAP:

The Vicsport LEAP Leadership course is calling for EOIs now. The LEAP (Lead, Engage, Achieve, Promote) is a four-day program, focusing on developing the talent and leadership skills of women in sport administration.

This course, proudly supported by Sport and Recreation Victoria, is in its seventh year and has supported over 150 women in sport.

EOI's are due by midnight 5 December, 2025. EOI Application Form

2026 Regattas:

DBV are hard at work planning our 2026 Regattas, starting with Falls Creek. The event information, categories and timelines have been added to the event page. Our Lunar New Year Regatta is likely to take place on the Barwon River, Geelong on Sunday 15 February. Confirmation will be provided shortly.
