National Volunteer Week (18 - 24 May 2026)

National Volunteer Week is a great opportunity to celebrate the amazing people who enable our sport to function! There are hundreds of volunteers across our community ranging from coaches, committee members, family members and everything in between.

You are the success and heartbeat of Dragon Boat racing!! Thank you to every single person who contributes to the sport we love. Please know you are apprecaited more than words can describe. 

On Sunday 17 May DBV ran its last regatta of the 25/26 season on the Maribyrnong River in Footscray. After a wet start to the day the racing brough the heat via continuous 200m events starting off with Prems and BCP in the morning, followed by Senior B & C crews in the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who made the effort to attend. It was especially wonderful to see so many first time paddlers on the water!

AusDBF is opening an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the National Team Manager role for the 2026-2027 Auroras campaign.

The National Team Manager is responsible for the operational leadership, administration, and coordination of the Australian National Dragon Boat (known as the Auroras) program across all Divisions.

As announced on Facebook, Rapids Dragon Boat Club are returning starting off with monthly sessions commencing 27 June. If you would like to attend, please complete the following registration form.
